ProblemSolution
No sound coming from speakers.
- First you will need to see if the cable from your speakers (Click here) are connected to the audio out jack or speaker jack on the back of your computer. (Click here)
- If the speakers have a switch to turn them on check to make the speakers are plugged in and turned on.
- Check the volume knob and make sure you have turned it to at least the middle notch.
- Check the internal Windows Volume application. Click the Start Button, then All Programs, then Accessories, then Entertainment. Click Volume Control. (Click here)
- Check Volume Control and Wave levels and change them accordingly.
- If they are powered on and the volume is turned up and there is still no sound then you will need to go into your computers Control Panel. Once there you should be able to find a button that says: "Sounds and Audio Devices". You should be able to access this to see the inner workings such as the General Properties, Levels, Enhancements, and Advanced Properties. (Click here)
- If none of these resolve the sound issue, then the speakers need to be replaced. Contact your technology coordinator for a replacement set.
